If escaping to the countryside and spending your days watching and listening to birds is your idea of heaven, our cottages in Mid West Wales are the ideal sanctuary. They are right on the border of Carmarthenshire & Ceredigion. Situated up on the hillside we have panoramic views over patchwork fields and the Teifi Valley below. Misty Heights bird hide is just a 2 minute walk from the cottages and we also have 2 acres of private meadows to explore.

Half Day Reduced Rate
If you’ve booked to stay in one of our two cosy holiday cottages you’re eligible to book the hide for half days
on an exclusive use basis for you and your partner at a reduced rate.
You can book either a morning session (9am-12noon) or an afternoon session 1pm-4pm for just £45.
Get in touch with us prior to booking to check availability and once you’ve booked your cottage we can also book you into the bird hide.
Woodpecker Cottage
Woodpecker Cottage is an idyllic countryside retreat in wonderful Mid West Wales. It is perfect for solo travellers or a romantic couples break. The cottage is part of a barn-conversion and used to be used for sheep-shearing when Coedmor Fach was a working farm.
It is full of character with beams & wood burning stove but with modern touches like underfloor central heating, high speed wi-fi, Smart TV, EV Charger & stylish furnishings. Surrounded by green meadows, there are countryside walks right from your door which make the most of the amazing views.
Red Kite Cottage
Red Kite Cottage is cosy and quirky with great views. On the upper level of a barn-conversion, it used to be a hay loft when Coedmor Fach was a working farm. It’s a wonderful retreat for solo travellers or couples.
It has gorgeous character beams & a wood burning stove for cosy nights in. The modern amenities include high speed wi-fi, radiator central heating, Smart TV, EV Charger & stylish furnishings. The 2 acres of private garden meadows are just around the corner from your front door.

Our two cosy holiday cottages are just a two minute walk from the bird hide making a perfect combination for a birdwatching holiday. When not using the bird hide, holiday cottage guests also have access to our two private meadows where you can always see and hear Red Kites and Common Buzzards flying overhead. There are lots other nature watching opportunities around us too. The British Bird of Prey Centre, Cors Caron, Teifi Marshes and Red Kite Feeding centres are all within easy reach. Plus we have dolphin watching boat trips nearby in Cardigan Bay.
